OMG, I can't - it's too much, Harold! People can't take it! Another Big Fab Fraud!?! Ivan Massow's fantastic film, Banksy's Coming For Dinner. Any excuse for me to put anything Joan Collins or Banksy related and to have the two combined with a tiny Madonna reference?!

Joan Collins: "I'm very excited we're going to have Banksy, he does absolute works of art and they sell for £980,000 and people like Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and Madonna buy his work."

The Biggest Star of All: Andrew Lloyd Webber wants Madonna for Sunset Blvd.!

You there, why are you so late?

Andrew Lloyd Webber tells that hideous farckle Piers Morgan that he wants Madonna for his version of musical version of Sunset Blvd.

Here's what Webber told McFarckle Morgan:

"I bet you this never, ever, happens, but you know who would make a great Norma Desmond on screen? Madonna.

"She's the right age. I've not got through to her. She hasn't taken my call this time."

Take that fucking call, Madonna!!!

All the ingredients could not be more perfect. The material, the subject, a musical, back where she belongs: Music and Motion Picture. If she took this film, she would have them eating her dust - forever!

I am a huge fan and obsessed with Sunset Blvd. - the film. And there could never be a remake of that film but this is different for it's the musical version and NOBODY could play it but Madonna.

Interestingly enough, a few years ago I was talking to my friend and when asked what I would like to see Madonna do, I suggested that I would love to see Madonna in the musical version of Sunset Blvd. He thinks Madonna is too egocentric and youth obsessed to accept a role as an aging silent movie queen. Aging is her Kryptonite - his fab quote, not mine. I disagree though. I think she would chew it. She was fab in Evita and tackled that with brilliance and would do the same, if not better, as Norma Desmond in Sunset Blvd.

The Queen of Comedy: Joan Rivers - A Piece of Work

Wow, saw Joan Rivers: A Piece of Work last night and she was there for a Q&A. Fabulous! She's the Rock Star of comedy. It's Joan's Truth or Dare. There are many parallels between Rivers and Madonna for fans to encounter in this film. I've been a long time fan of Rivers and when she walked out for the questions, I was so thrilled. That drive, ambition and constant need to work really reminded me of Madonna (Ciccone just put a hit out on Mr. Pud Whacker!). In our youth obsessed culture, these women forge on unscathed. They will only stop working when the dirt hits their grave.

I love Joan - that bejeweled and bedazzled homunculus figure. She's a fighter and fantastic. It's the year of the documentary - couple this with the brilliant mind fuck Exit Through The Gift Shop. Because she was a comedic genius, she was never taken seriously in her first love which is that of the dramatic actress. As determined and driven as Streisand and Madonna, she never quite graduated to the A-list, even within her less respected field. Where her male-counterparts like Don Rickles and George Burns were thrown accolades, Joan was relegated to being brash and clownish. It was not appropriate for a woman to behave in such a manner and this is reiterated throughout the film. In the same way that Madonna's early sexual references in her work are today considered relatively tame, Joan's references to abortion and botched nights of passion were similarly shocking in their time. They show early b/w footage of her on Ed Sullivan and Johnny Carson and you feel her power. This is a woman who never stopped and never will. She's raw and real.

There is a vulgar quality about Joan but it's intelligent, endearing and funny not repellent, screechy and self-anointed like Kathy Griffin. Like said about Madonna, Joan is happiest on stage. I really must say, seeing her in person was such a delight. We were 2nd row and say what you will about Miss Joan but that bytch looks glamorous and fantastic at 77!!! All 5'2 foot of her. She's teeny tiny, like a little mouse. It's a brilliant insightful film about a brilliant, intelligent and talented woman. There will never be another Joan Rivers. See it immediately, I would definitely see it again.

In 1990, there was a rumored Nike commercial with Madonna and her Blond Ambition dancers - it never materialized...until now! It fell through because Madonna refused to wear the product.

Legendary.

Physical Attraction 1983

The year was 1983 and in Boston, Massachusetts - Madonna performed one of those 'track dates' with her back up dancers, Erica Bell and Bags. Remember how she was always on about those 'track dates' in her interviews in the early days, pre-Virgin? Anyway, she sang Physical Attraction, Lucky Star, Burning Up, Holiday and Everybody. In 2000 or 2001, there was a Madonna Convention in Los Angeles at The Palace on Vine Street and I went, reluctantly. I thought I was above all that shit but they played the entire Boston show and my face super crack'd. It was all live and fantastic. I would have died for that show in 1983 - shyt I would die for it now.

Bits and pieces of this show have been on the internet for years and my friend Alex sent me the bulk of the first half of Physical Attraction today. Evidently, it comes from the wonderful MadonnaTribe.com and Summer82 shared it. I've pieced and edited all the additional missing footage together to get all of Physical Attraction. It's not perfect but it's perfect for us because it's all we got. Enjoy. xo
