Confessions on a Dance Floor by Mattress

Another fabulous signature and avatar created by talented, loyal and great Madonna fan - Mattress - when we were on MadonnaMad together. He always made the greatest shyt. This one is from 2005.

He based it off what Madonna and Klein did with a few of those Confessions sessions - Ken Russell's motion picture Tommy (1975). This one, in particular, from Tina Turner's record cover and scene in the film - Acid Queen.

Madonna - The Early Show 2005

Confessions on a Dance Floor was Number One in 29 countries and Madonna had tied with Elvis Presley with 36 top ten hits when she gave this interview to Harry Smith for CBS's The Early Show in Japan. I really enjoy their exchange, they have a cool chemistry. And she's just so damn gorgeous here! Favorite bit for me is when he holds up her first two albums. Legendary.

When Coachella was Blessed by Madonna

Ah, Coachella - 5 years ago. My first and last music festival with the only person that could get me there - MADONNA. It was hotter than shyt, we got there at 7 am to insure we were in the front - we ran like animals down to the tent - people were falling on their face, snow cones were flying in the air - it was horrible and wonderful all at the same time. Coachella and that indie nothing crowd had no idea what hit them. They have never been blessed by Madonna. Which is why everyone was so jaded when she announced she would be there.

At the last minute they had to figure out what they were going to do. They figured on wrist bands. We got them and we were the first 20 in line and we waited there all day in the scorching heat. It was fabulous, we were in the front and what I really remember is during Hung Up when she gets on the floor and starts crawling that she came toward the end of the stage and looked right at me with those Who's That Girl Eyes. Fantastic! When she was done, you couldn't get me out of there fast enough. Bring on Miss Ross, The Boss and her helicopter to charter me away!

ICON Gift - Confessions Shirt - 2005

In 2005, when someone became a member of Madonna's ICON Fan Club, they sent out this t shirt, in this cool disco ball box thing, along with a fan club card. At the time, I remember Moe and I were on a Madonna Forum together and he said he didn't care for it and I asked him to send it to me and he did the next day. xo
