Jean Paul Gaultier Haute Couture Fall 2012 Collection

For his fall 2012 couture collection, designer Jean Paul Gaultier continually prove that he is a genius! It has been reported that Jean Paul Gaultier get his inspiration from the work of poet Alfred de Musset–”Confession of a Child of the Century”, which tells the 19th century story of a man in love with a woman who wears menswear clothing. I don't know how to describe it, I'm at a loss for words.

After seeing the runway photos, I decided to classify Jean Paul Gaultier Haute Couture Fall 2012 Collection into three segments. The first group of clothes features top hats, tuxedo jackets, lush furs, art-deco inspired prints and sheer chiffons. The second group is comprised of kimono-styled eveningwear while the third group conveys a futuristic theme that will surely capture Lady Gaga or Madonna's interest. For the finale, a model wearing non-traditional wedding gown - an ivory jacket and matching voluminous skirt.

There's lots of lace dresses that comes in teal, pink, powder blue, olive, cream, grey and black. Oh! I really love the see-through looks!

Valentio Fall 2012: Paris Haute Couture

Around of applause to Pier Paolo Piccioli and Maria Grazia Chiuri for presenting red-carpet-worthy gowns and dresses. Valentino Haute Couture Fall 2012 collection for Paris Fashion Week was unveiled at the Hotel Salomon de Rothschild yesterday in Paris, France. The collection comes in a wide range of colors, from black, red and blue to blush pink, yellow, purple and cream. It also futures sparkling pieces, floral numbers and full-length gowns with sheer sections that bare the legs. Celebrities would surely wear this collection in the red carpet.

Called "New Vintage", Karl Lagerfeld presented Chanel's Fall 2012 Haute Couture collection at Grand Palais in Paris. It's a combination of old and new looks. The classic silhouettes were infused with metallic sleeves and belts with layering and jackets. The collection also includes elegant gowns, tailored pants and camellia adorned dresses in soft grey, pastel pink, taupe and ivory palettes. As expected, Chanel Fall 2012 Haute Couture collection is spectacular!

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is back on the catwalk! The model turned actress and underwear designer, walked on the runway to at the kickoff of Sao Paulo Fashion Week for Animale show. Rosie paraded two fashionable looks on the show. For the opening, she sported perforated leather leggings and a sheer tulle top, followed later by a sleek leather skirt and animal-printed tulle shirt.
